Sony Has Allegedly Turned to Judy Smith In the Midst of Their Own Scandal

In an ironic twist, Sony must turn to a Black woman to save the day.

Reports have circulated that the real life Olivia Pope, Judy Smith has been hired by Sony to do damage control over their recent security breach and decision to cancel the showing of The Interview.

The Interview follows the life of a journalist and a producer that are tasked with the duty of assassinating North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un. In an effort to convince Sony from not showing the film, it has been rumored that a North Korean group has been the cause of the hacking and has threatened that there will be attacks in the theaters that showcase the movie.

Who else, then, would be the person to turn to in an attempt to save face in the heat of a scandal? Judy Smith has proven herself more than capable of handling this job. With Presidents, her own firm and a hit television show inspired by her life under her belt, her resume fits the bill.
